The Stud is located at "Mena Creek" North Queensland, just 70 km South West of Cairns, where the Rainforest meets the Reef.

"The Rushtons" are very enthusiastic about the future of the Beef Industry and the level at where Brangus cattle can take it.

With just under a decade of cattle experience starting with store cattle, we quickly learnt just how important good genetics are.

So we went in search of cattle with "More". More bone, More balance, More Muscle, More weight - We found Brangus Cattle!

Advancing into seed stock breeding, continuing our search for advanced Genetics, we have also added a small commercial herd to prove our bulls.

Traits important to our bloodlines include breed consistency, bulls and females who perform well, are feed efficient, can adapt to different environments and longevity as breeding animals.
